The challenge

Digital Main Street is a government program in Ontario that helps main street businesses adopt digital technologies, tools and strategies to grow their business. Past Digital Main Street training workshops run by the Hamilton Business Centre had been met with low interest and attendance. The centre needed to find fun, fresh and relevant topics to engage its audience and drive registrations for its events.

The solution

Digital Main Street

Greenlight Content developed a number of high-impact digital training workshops focused on key topics that were relevant for new small business owners. The topics covered included email marketing, copywriting and customer relationship management (CRM). Each workshop was given a high-impact name to capture the attention of the target audience for both Digital Main Street and the Hamilton Business Centre.

The results

Registration and attendance for our workshops hit an all-time high for the program, with the average session seeing 60+ registrants and 40+ attendees (compared to less than half of that in previous sessions). The feedback has been incredibly positive, with over 80% of attendees saying they were very satisfied with the training and 75% saying it was helpful for their business.

Working with Vanessa has been an extremely enjoyable experience. Her presentation skills matched with her wit and humour is top notch. I highly recommend connecting with her for all your copywriting and content strategy needs.
